Überseequartier (ÜSQ), the most metropolitan and vibrant part of the HafenCity district (former Port of Hamburg area) is being developed in order to provide a total of 270,000 m² (GFA) mainly for residential, commercial, and cultural uses, thereby revitalizing this area of the city. Überseequartier will feature prestigious architecture by offices such as UNStudio and Pritzker prize winner Christian de Portzamparc, with all buildings on the site being designed to meet the toughest criteria of the BREEAM Excellent standard.
TASK DESCRIPTION
BIM consultancy for the project management team and facilitating openBIM exchange between different project partners (BIM designers). In a later stage, D-studio’s scope was extended to also include 3D/BIM coordination (clash detection) for the MEP designers and delivering a consolidated MEP model to the project’s master planner.
